The Honey Bee Network The Honey Bee Network is the biggest network of grassroots creative and experimenting farmers and artisans in the world. 
 

 

The Honey Bee Network, provides a voice to creative farmers, artisans and grassroots innovators. The network identifies creative unsung heroes of the society, supports, rewards and facilitates the protection of their work. Innovation augmentation and sustainability of solution is core to the networks philosophy. The Network works with people working on sustainable technologies based on traditional practices or "green" innovations. GIAN Gujarat Grassroots Innovations Augmentation Network
 

 

GIAN was established with the support of Government of Gujarat for providing incubation support to grassroots innovations. Established in 1997, GIAN has been able to establish enterprises, license technologies at district, state, national as well as international levels, entered into MoU with NID for establishing "Grassroots Innovations Design Studio" GRIDS and have established a patent assistance cell. NIF National Innovation Foundation

NIF organised First Competition for Scouting Grassroots Unaided Technological Innovations in the year 2000, the results were very encouraging. The Second competition was announced for the year 2001.
