Gondia
Gondia district, created recently by carving it out of Bhandara, is dotted with over 10,000 small and big ponds. Vidarbha’s longest river Vainganga, flows through this district. Nestling in the Satpuda mountain range, the district is laced with in mining industry units. Navegaon dam, Chand-Suraj, Chulband are its main places of tourist attraction. Gondia is also famous for windmills, beedi industry and factories of brass utensils
